The main attraction of the town is Tabo Monastery, which is known as the largest Royal complex situated in Spiti Valley and is believed to be constructed over thousand years ago. The monastery covers an area of 6300 square meter and fenced with mud brick wall. The monastery houses 23 chortens and 9 temples with the nun’s residence and monk’s chamber. It is also known as Tabo-Chos-kher. The place is famous for wall paintings, stucco images and magnificent sculptures.

Shoghi is also popularly known as the temple town by the tourists. The town has this name due to the fact that there are many old temples in this town. The main temples are Tara Devi Temple, Kali Temple and Hanuman Temple. This town is known for its natural beauty and has abundant rhododendrons and oak trees. It is also known for various fruit products such as pickles, syrups, jellies and juices.
